Global Benchmark Data

QAISys® is a new innovation in medical imaging quality management.  Our service is designed to function as a standardized data repository.  We envision compilation of data from numerous clients that will form the basis of quality improvement initiatives on a global level.  We envision organizations such as the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), the American College of Radiology (ACR) and other organizations and individuals interested in research related to medical imaging quality to benefit from this data in the pursuit of helping to optimize medical imaging services for all.  We believe that individuals and organizations that provide Continuing Education for medical imaging professionals will be able to leverage this data to great effect.  We envision partnering with the ASRT to help organize quality improvement initiatives on a national level.

To accomplish this, we are currently making plans for QMS 3.0 which will facilitate compilation and de-identification of the data.  QMS 3.0 will include additional features that help to standardize feedback collection.  It will integrate the global data in the form of benchmarks into its dashboard analysis and reporting functions.

Upon deployment of QMS 3.0, we plan to make participation in the Global Benchmark Data program optional for our clients.  There will also be some requisite implementation standards that must be met for inclusion in the program.  These standards will be necessary in order to establish and maintain integrity in the standardization of the data.

We will implement the program once the number and composition of clients who opt to participate reach a point where data can be de-identified to standards set by AHRQ.
